Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of RegalCrest Kent Concrete, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.

Services Provided

RegalCrest Kent Concrete provides concrete contracting services including but not limited to driveways, patios, foundations, decorative concrete, repairs, and commercial concrete work. All services are subject to availability and proper permitting.

We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including unsafe site conditions, unreasonable requests, or violation of these terms.

Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates are provided in good faith based on information available at the time. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Final pricing may change if site conditions differ from initial assessment or if additional work is requested.

A written contract will be provided before work begins. This contract will outline the scope of work, materials to be used, timeline, and total cost. Both parties must sign before project commencement.

Payment Terms

Payment schedules will be outlined in your project contract. Typical terms include a deposit before work begins and final payment upon completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

Late payments may be subject to finance charges. If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, we reserve the right to suspend work or pursue legal remedies to collect payment owed.

Project Timeline

We will provide estimated start and completion dates in your contract. While we make every effort to meet these timelines, delays may occur due to weather conditions, material availability, permit delays, or other factors beyond our control.

We will communicate any delays promptly and work with you to adjust schedules as needed. We are not liable for damages resulting from project delays caused by circumstances outside our control.

Site Access and Preparation

You are responsible for providing clear access to the work area. This includes moving vehicles, lawn furniture, decorations, and other obstacles. You must also identify and mark underground utilities before we begin excavation.

We are not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities, landscaping outside the work area, or structures not identified in the contract. Additional charges may apply if extra site preparation is needed beyond what was agreed upon.

Warranty and Liability

We warranty our workmanship for one year from project completion. This warranty covers defects in installation and workmanship when the concrete is properly maintained and used for its intended purpose.

This warranty does not cover damage from improper use, natural disasters, ground movement, salt damage, or normal wear and tear. Concrete naturally develops hairline cracks due to temperature changes and settling. These are not considered defects.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from our services.

Cancellation and Changes

You may cancel your project before work begins. Deposits may be refundable depending on costs already incurred for materials, permits, or scheduling. Once work begins, cancellation may result in charges for work completed and materials purchased.

Changes to the scope of work must be requested in writing and may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments. We will provide a revised estimate before proceeding with any changes.

Safety and Compliance

We maintain all necessary licenses and insurance as required by Ohio law. We follow OSHA safety guidelines and local building codes. All work requiring permits will be properly permitted and inspected.

You agree to keep children and pets away from the work area during construction. Active work sites contain equipment, materials, and hazards that can cause injury.

Dispute Resolution

If disputes arise regarding our services, we encourage direct communication to resolve issues. Most concerns can be addressed through honest conversation and reasonable accommodation.

If we cannot reach an agreement, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Ohio law. Both parties agree to arbitrate rather than pursue litigation except where prohibited by law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
